Unusual mission for a USAF drone

Yesterday afternoon around 17:00 CEST a Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (callsign FORTE12) left NAS Sigonella to carry out a surveillance mission over eastern Ukraine.

After spending over 12 hours on the area the drone left the area.

However, instead of returning to the Sicilian base, the aircraft is now flying over Iraq, probably heading to the base in Al Dhafra AB, UAE.
