Turkish eye on the Black Sea

A Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (reg. 13-003 – callsign TURAF42) has departed this morning from Konya AB, central Turkey, to perform a Black Sea surveillance mission.

The aircraft is orbiting over the coast of Romania and with its radar with a maximum range of over 850 km at 30,000 ft of altitude can cover at least two thirds of the Black Sea area.
