Italian CAEW over Poland

Surveillance mission for an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293).

The aircraft took off from Pratica di Mare AB at 09:02 CET and is now orbiting eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine.

From this position, the aircraft can cover the whole of western Poland.

It is the first time that we track an Italian CAEW operating in this area, in the past the missions have always taken place over Romania.
