Unusual arrival in Crimea

An unusual guest is arrived this afternoon in Crimea.

A Russian Air Force Tupolev Tu-214ON (reg. RF-64519) has landed at the air base of Bel’bek, north of Sevastopol, from Moscow

It is the aircraft that was used by Russia to carry out missions within the Opensky Agreement before its withdrawal from.

The Tu-214ON can carry the M402N Ronsar side-looking radar with synthetic aperture with a range of 50 km over land and 200 km over water but it is possible that it has been modified to accommodate other sensors as well.
