Turkish AWACS over Romania

For the first time since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, we are tracking an operational flight in Eastern Europe of a Turkish AWACS.

A Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (reg. 13-002, callsign TURAF42) is currently orbiting Eastern Romania east of Brasov.

Until today, we have not tracked any Turkish operational mission, within NATO, in the area.
