This morning at 09:04 CEST a French Air Force Airbus A339MRTT (reg. F-UJCI, callsign VANT99) has left Istres AB.

In these minutes, 15:30 CEST, the aircraft is orbiting over central Romania.

In previous days there have been similar missions to Poland. The French tanker was supporting Rafale aircraft of the French Air Force which took off directly from France and that are carrying our a Combat Air Patrol on the eastern flank of the NATO.
