Poseidon monitoring Russian ships

A USNavy Boeing P-8A “Poseidon” is returning to NAS Sigonella after performing a maritime patrol mission south of Crete.

A few days ago the Surface Action Group (SAG) of the Russian Navy cruiser Marshall Ustinov was in the central Mediterranean (Ionian Sea) while the SAG of the cruiser Varyag was between Cyprus and Crete moving west.
