First operational mission for the new ItAF G.550

Until today we have tracked a few training flights for the new Italian Air Force Gulfstream G.550 (reg. MM62329).

Today, however, the aircraft carried out its first operational mission, performing a flight from Pratica di Mare AB to Paphos, Cyprus (landed around12:00 CEST).

While waiting to receive the modifications that will transform it into a platform for surveillance missions, the aircraft will be used for executive flights.
