The airlift between Italy and Poland continues today.

An Italian Air Force Lockheed C-130J (reg. MM62178) is returning to Italy from Rzeszow airport while an Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62229) departed from Pratica di Mare AB at 17.55 CEST is heading to Poland.

The aircraft, carrying military supplies for Ukraine, are not allowed by the Budapest government to fly over Hungary (even though it is a NATO member…)

The airlift between Italy and Poland is operated with KC-767As and C-130Js departing from the Pisa or Pratica di Mare air bases.
