Eastern Mediterranean mission for a Turkish ATR

This morning a Turkish Navy ATR P-72MPA (callsign MARTI01) took off at 09:17 CEST from NAS Izmit for a mission over the eastern Mediterranean.

The aircraft travelled from north to south over the Aegean Sea within the Athens FIR (but outside Greek airspace) and then to the Egyptian FIR.

The aircraft then returned to Dalaman where it landed at around 12:00.

Since the aircraft did not cross Greek airspace, it appears to be a non-NATO mission, but a Turkish one.
