Another day begins and we already record some aircraft taking off from Sigonella to carry out surveillance missions over the Black Sea and others returning to the Sicilian airport after carrying out them:

  • a USN Boeing P-8A is returning to NAS Sigonella after carrying out an ISR mission over the Danube Delta tonight;
  • another USN Boeing P-8A took off from Sigonella a short while ago to carry out a similar mission;
  • shortly before, a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4D (reg. MM-AV-SA0016) also took off from Sigonella to carry out a surveillance mission over the Black Sea
