The Russian Navy tug “Sergey Balk” is currently sailing off the coast of Algiers westbound.
As we had assumed, the tug, which departed last week from Tartus, Syria, is not sailing alone but is escorting a Kilo Class submarine that is therefore leaving the Mediterranean.

Another Kilo-class submarine and a Yasen-class submarine, probably the Severodvinsk, remain in the Mediterranean.
