A new mission over the Aegean for a Turkish Navy ATR P-72 MPA (reg. TCB-753 – callsign MART99) . The aircraft departed from NAS Topel at 08:06 CEST this morning, landing inDalaman at around 11:30.
the ATR then departed Dalaman at 13:15 in the direction of NAS Topel.
In contrast to the missions we had tracked last week, this one did not focus on any particular area but was a simple direct flight.
Note that (it can be clearly seen from the map) that the aircraft did indeed operate within the Athens FIR but was always careful to avoid Greek airspace.
