Surveillance mission for an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62303 – callsign PERSEO71).

The aircraft took off from Pratica di Mare AB at 12:09 CEST and is back home after a surveillance mission carried out now over eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine and south of the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad.

Over the past few days, the Italian CAEW has carried out several missions in the area, whereas previously it always operated in Romania.
