The German Navy’s U35 (S185) submarine, which belongs to the 1st Submarine Squadron (home port Eckernförde), docked a few minutes ago at the Taranto naval base’s submarine docks.
The U-35 (S185) is a type 212A submarine of the German Navy. It is the fifth submarine of the class to enter service. In 2021 she took part in EU Operation Irini
The U-35 is of the same type as the Italian Todaro class submarines that are based in Taranto.
