NATO air activity over northern Italy:

  • a pair of USAF General Dynamics F-16s (reg. 88-0435, 89-2137) left Aviano AB to conduct a routine training mission over the northern Adriatic
  • At the same time, an Italian Air Force Panavia Tornado ECR (reg MM7054) (but it is likely to be more than one aircraft) departed from Ghedi AB and is currently (10:30 CEST) flying north over southern Germany
