Greek eyes on the central Mediterranean

For the second time in a few days, a Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-135 AEW&C (reg. 725) from Elefsis AB conducted a surveillance mission over the central Mediterranean south of Sicily.

Usually, these missions are always carried out within the Athens FIR.

This set-up is also part of the IRINI so it could be operating within this mission.

Last week, a Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T (which is not part of IRINI) also operated in this area.
