This morning there are at least three US assets carrying out surveillance missions over Romania:

  • USAF Boeing RC-135U (reg. 64-14849 – callsign HOMER11) taken off from Souda Bay Ab and active over eastern Romania
  • USAF Boeing RC-135W (reg. 62-4138 – callsign JAKE11) took off from RAF Mildenhall and is arriving in these minutes (10:15 CET) in the area
  • USArmy Bombardier CL-650 ARTEMIS (reg. N488CR – callsign BRIO68) working on the border with Moldova and Ukraine
