Poseidon is back

It had been several weeks that as the only assets used by the USNavy in the Black Sea area we were tracking EP-3Es that took off from Souda Bay AB.

This of course is not to say that perhaps there were no other assets engaged, but they were still untraceable.

Today, therefore, after many weeks we are witnessing the return of a Boeing P-8A to the area, which took off from NAS Sigonella.

The aircraft is now flying towards eastern Romania where it will carry out a SIGINT mission near the coast.
