USS Bush new area of operation

A few days before Christmas the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) was reported sailing in the Adriatic.

Today, however, it seems to have moved towards the western Mediterranean, between Sardinia and the Balearic Islands, and this has caused an increase in military traffic in the area.

In fact a USNavy Grumman C-2A (reg. 162140 – callsign RAWHIDE 01) took off from Sigonella and landed in this sea area (evidently on the aircraft carrier Bush).

Also yesterday we tracked the USNS Arctic (T-AOE-8), a USNavy supply ship, in this area.

Finally, a Portuguese Air Force Lockheed P-3C (reg. 14810) carried out a patrol mission near the position of the USS Bush.
