Intense activity over the southern Adriatic

This afternoon we tracked several movements over the southern Adriatic.

At least one USNavy Boeing P-8A and one Italian Air Force ATR P-72A (reg. MM62280) operated in the area and several USNavy Sikorsky MH-60Rs operated in the area taking off from US units navigating in the area.

We do not know if all of them are still there, but until 24 February, the Italian aircraft carrier Cavour (C550), the Spanish multi-purpose amphibious assault ship-aircraft carrier Juan Carlos I (L-61) and the US aircraft carrier USS George Bush (CVN-77) were sailing in the southern Adriatic. The latter is certainly still in the area.
