At least three NATO assets are at work today in the Black Sea area.

An Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293 – callsign PERSEO71) took off from Constanta and is orbiting the eastern part of Romania, approximately in the same area where a USN Lockkheed EP-3E (reg. 159887), departed from Souda Bay AB, is operating from NAS Sigonella.

Meanwhile an USArmy Bombardier Challenger 650 ARTEMIS (reg. N159L – c/s BRIO68) is monitoring the border (and over) between Romania, Ukraine and Moldova.
