Interesting movements in the Western Mediterranean. After spending a few days in Algiers during its journey to Tartus, the Russian Navy frigate Admiral Grigorovich has returned to the port of the Algerian capital.
The ship arrived in Algiers yesterday and is expected to stay for eight days, during which it will participate in training activities with units of the Algerian Navy.

This is peculiar because, in the face of intense NATO naval activity in the Eastern Mediterranean (we previously discussed the presence of Italian units in the area, for example), Russia is relocating its only unit that could potentially concern its NATO counterparts on the other side of the basin.
