First Italian AF aircraft arrived in Australia

The first aircraft of the Italian Air Force arrived in Darwin, Australia, this morning.

A Lockheed C-130J (reg. MM62195), a Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293), and a Boeing KC-767A (reg. MM62229), which took off from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, landed at the Australian airport around 10:00 CEST (19:00 LT).

Meanwhile, one of the C-130Js (reg. MM62196) seems to be returning to Italy directly from Malaysia, while a C-130J (reg. MM62186) and the second KC-767A (reg. MM62227) arrived in Kuala Lumpur this morning and will also proceed to Australia.

Additionally, although not tracked, 4 Eurofigther F-2000A and 4 Lockheed Martin F-35A participated in the leg.

The Air Force aircraft will participate in the Pitch Black 2024 (PBK24) exercise in Australia
