Unusual Movements (or at least unusual to track) in the Gulf of Aden, off the coasts of Yemen and Somalia.

Last night, a USN Northrop Grumman MQ-4C (Reg. 169602 – c/s OVERLORD01) operated in the area, coming from the Gulf.
Later in the morning, a USN Boeing P-8A carried out a mission in the same area, slightly further north.

This region has been under continuous surveillance by Western assets for years, initially due to piracy targeting ships transiting to and from the Suez Canal. More recently, the focus has shifted to Houthi rebel attacks on commercial shipping.
