UAE Globemaster to Libya

This afternoon around 17:00 CET we’ve tracked this United Arab Emirates Air Force Boeing C-17A “Globemaster” (reg. 1226 – callsign “UAF1224”) in flight over western Egypt westbound at FL280.

When the aircraft is entered into Libyan airspace the callsign was changed (?) in “XXXX”, after some minutes the aircraft disappeared from all tracking site.

We dont’ know the final destination of the flight but probably was an eastern Libya airfield.
