New RAF air strike mission in Iraq

No holidays on sunday for Royal Air Force in Cyprus: a Bombardier Global Express Sentinel R.1 ( ZJ691 ) is landing in RAF Akrotiri after an ISR mission over Iraq.

At the same time a couple of Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4 (ZK313, ZK369) departed from Cyprus are in flight to make an air strike mission on ISIS positions in Iraq with an Airbus KC.3 (ZZ333).

These missions are part of Operation Shader (the operational code name given to the contribution of the United Kingdom in the ongoing military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).
