French fighters over Misrata?

Today the news that two French Rafale fighters and a tanker would be spotted over Misrata has been shared by different social media’s accounts.

We’ve not tracked any French Air Force tanker in flight over the central Mediterranean today (not even in recent times). And we’re not the only ones.

The fact that there is no trace does not obviously mean that the information is fake but does not allow us to confirm it.

The news, however, puzzled us because in the past, when it happened to track similar missions, the support tanker has always remained in the international airspace, many kilometers away from the mainland and certainly not visible with the naked eye.
