Italian tanker AAR mission over Iraq

Today an Italian Air Force Boeing KC-767 (MM62227) made an aerial refueling mission over Iraq departing from Italy.

The aircraft left Pratica di Mare AB, south of Rome, at 05:59 CEST.

The tanker made its mission between 07:50 CEST and 09:00 CEST then it landed in Kuwait.

Two weeks ago the Italian Tornado have returned in Kuwait as part of the Inherent Resolve Operation after just over five years.

We do not know if this mission was carried out in favor of Italian planes or other coalition planes.
