New OURAN41 mission

Also this evening an Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-145 AEW&C (757) left Elefsis AB, near Athens, eastbound. At 17:45 CEST the aircraf is returned to Elefsis. We’ve only the inital part of the flight tracked. The mission is still in progress at 20:00 CEST.

The aircraft is making a surveillance mission over eastern Mediterranean Sea probably near the island of Karpathos near the area where the Turkish research ship “Oruc Reis” begun the last week a new session of drills in the Greek Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), not recognized by Turkey.

The Turkish ship is now underway east of the island of Rhodes.
