A NATO Boeing E-3A (LX-N90447) orbited south of Marmara Sea while a Turkish Air Force E-7T (13-004) made a similar mission east of Izmir. Both aircraft are departed from Konya AB
Meanwhile an Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-145 AEW&C (374) left Elefsis AB to make a surveillance mission between Thessaloniki and Xanthi.
