Eastern Med double surveillance mission (Greek & Turkish)

This morning a Turkish Navy CASA CN-235 MSA (reg. TCB-655 – callsign TURNA25) is making a patrol mission over eastern Mediterranean Sea south of Cyprus. The CASA is based in NAS Izmit.

Meanwhile an Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB 145 AEW&C (reg. 374 – OURAN11) left Elefsis AB to make a surveillnce mision in the ame area, vor the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Turkey confirms to continue with its drilling program in areas of the East Mediterranean claimed by Cyprus, despite the EU Council adopting a framework for sanctions that can be imposed against those held responsible.
