Maintenance in Zurich

This morning the Italian Air Force Beech 350 (MM62300) equipped with sensors to carry out ISR missions left Pratica di Mare AB around 07:30 CET heading north.

After about two hours of flight, the Italian aircraft landed at 09:35 in Zurich, Switzerland.

About an hour and half later the second Italian Air Force Beech (MM62300) departed from Istrana AB also landed in Zurich. This aircraft is often used to provide logistical support to its “twin”.

At 12:02 the latter left Zurich and, after a stop in Istrana AB, it finally reached Pratica di Mare AB, its homebase.

There is a Beechcraft maintenance center in Zurich, so it is possible that MM62300 landed in Switzerland for its Maintenance Programme and that the other aircraft went to carry the crew and bring it home.
