This morning in the eastern Aegean / Mediterranean area 3 AWACS are in flight.


An Hellenic Air Force Greek Embraer EMB-145 AEW & C (reg. 757 – callsign OURAN41) is landing at Elefsis Ab after a mission carried out over the north Aegean (of which we have only one part of the track).


At the same time, a Turkish Boeing E-7T (reg. 13-004) departed from Konya AB is orbiting in the vicinity of Izmir, replicating a mission that has been carried out daily by Turkish aircraft in the last week.

Also from Konya AB is departed a NATO Boeing E-3A (reg. LX-N90452 – callsign MAGIC08) now operating near Antalya.
