This morning we’ve (partially) tracked a new surveillance mission off western Libya (the last similar mission was tracked two days ago). the mission was made by an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. IAM1495 – callsign MM62293).

The aircraft left Pratica di Mare AB at 08:40 CET southbound and it was trackable until 09:11 when it disappered from all tracking sites.

At 13:52 the CAEW reappeared between Libya and Malta flying northbound and now (14:40 CET) it is descending to Pratica di Mare AB.

This morning we’ve tracked an interesting training activity over southern Sicily.

Another KC-767A was in the area (probably south east of Sicily) but it was not trackable.
