Another morning of reconnaissance missions over the eastern Mediterranean.

At the moment, two NATO assets are conducting surveillance missions south of Cyprus, monitoring the activities of Russian Navy units present in the area:

  • A NATO Boeing E-3A (reg. LX-N90456) from Konya AB, central Turkey has been orbiting the area for about half an hour.
  • An ATR P-72MPA (reg. TCB-751 – callsign TURNA15) of the Turkish Navy is carrying out a patrol activity in the same area, replicating a mission carried out two days ago
