Global Hawk monitoring Donbass

Share
Share

Since last night, Russian forces have been moving into areas occupied by secessionists in the self-described Donbass republics.

It is not known whether or not these movements could be the prelude to an offensive on the areas of the Donbass still under Ukrainian control.

For this reason, a USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B, departed from NAS Sigonella around 04:00 CET, is monitoring the area.

It should be noted that both the callsign (SPRAM) and the ICAO code of the drone are reported (or transmitted) in the wrong form.
