The Hellenic National Defence General Staff has declared that on Wednesday, 27 April, there were 41 violations of Greek airspace by aircraft of the Turkish armed forces.
In detail, 18 aircraft were intercepted in Greek airspace, 16 of which were fighter jets (10 of which were armed).

Airspace violations can be of different types, deviations of a few kilometres or overflying Greek islands in the Aegean Sea. On Wednesday it seems that both occurred.
the last year Greek media released a video showing a dogfight between an Hellenic Air Force Mirage 2000-5EG Mk.II of 332 Mira, departed from Skiro AB, and a Turkish Air Force Lockheed Martin F-16 over central Aegean
.
The increase in tension over the Aegean has led the Ministry of Defence to decide to cancel the invitation to Turkey to participate in the “NATO Tiger Meet” exercise which will be host in Araxos AB, Greece
