Eyes on Russian Navy ships in the Black Sea

“FORTE11” (USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B, reg. 10-2045) has departed yesterday evening at 23:17 CEST from NAS Sigonella and it has arrived over the Black Sea at around 01:36 CEST this night.

Since then, it has been orbiting the western part of the Black Sea. In the last days we’ve tracked several Global Hawk missions in this area.

Evidently, it is considered a priority to monitor what is happening in that part of the sea, especially the one separating the Crimea from Odesa.

The New York Times reported today that US intelligence about Russian Navy ships movements provided to Ukraine has allowed Kyiv to strike missile cruiser Moskva.
