New arrival in the Black Sea theatre

This afternoon a new arrival in the Black Sea area is to be reported.
A French Navy Breguet Atlantique ATL2 (reg. 18 – f/n FNY5116) departing from NAS Lorient is flying over Romania in an easterly direction.

It is possible that it is carrying out a surveillance mission over the Black Sea, as has happened several times in recent weeks. In those cases, however, the aircraft departed from the Souda base in Crete.
