The Hellenic National Defence General Staff has declared that on Monday, 15 August, there were 39 violations of Greek airspace by Turkish Air Force F-16s.

In detail, 18 aircraft were intercepted in Greek airspace (10 of which were armed) over the northern, central and southern Aegean Sea.

Since the morning there have been several scrambles by the Hellenic Air Force, such as this pair of Mirage 2000s that probably took off from Tanagra AB.
