Spartan in Libya

Today we’ve tracked a new flight of an Italian Air Force Leonardo C-27J “Spartan” (MM62217) to Misrata, Libya.

The aircraft, departed from Pisa San Giusto AB, has landed in Misurata around 11:30 CET. In the afternoon the aircraft will return to Pisa.

It was a flight with supplies for the Italian military field hospital in Misrata.

The Italian medical team consists of 70 doctors and nurses as well as 135 service staffers in all different sections of the hospital.
