This morning we tracked an Italian Air Force Beech B.350 SPYDR (reg. MM62300) departing from Paphos, Cyprus, at 09:16 CET. The SYPDR can carry out both SIGINT/COMINT (Signal/Communication Intelligence) and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) missions.

The aircraft has performed a surveillance missionsouth of Cyprus. During the flight, contrary to the usual, the aircraft didn’t switch off the ADB-S transponder so it’s possible to know exactly in which area the Beech operated.

In the sea area south of Cyprus are probably underway some Russian Navy units.
