This morning around 10:30 CET an Italian Air Force Gulfstream E.550 CAEW (reg. MM62293 – callsign PERSEO71) left Pratica di Mare AB to carry out a new surveillance mission.
The aircraft is orbiting (15:45 CET) over eastern Romania. From this area the aircraft is monitoring Moldova (with particular attention to the Russian-controlled region of Transinistria), much of south-western Ukraine and western Black Sea.
