On Friday several units of the Russian fleet stationed in the Mediterranean crossed Gibraltar to return to Russia.
They are the frigate Admiral Grigorovich (545), the corvettes Stoikiy (545) and Soobrazitelny (531) of the Steregushchiy class and the tanker Kola.
The two corvettes had entered the Mediterranean on October 15, 2022.
As of today, therefore, the units of the Russian Navy present in the Mediterranean should be:
- Frigate Admiral Gorshkov, armed with hypersonic missiles
- Corvette Orekhovo-Zuyevo
- Minesweeper Vladimir Emelyanov
- Krasnodar Kilo-class submarine
- Yuri Ivanov intelligence ship
Until April 22, all of these units except the frigate Admiral Gorshkov were reported to be in Tartus
