As is natural, we talk daily about Ukraine and missions carried out in relation with the situation after the Russian invasion.
But, let us not forget, there are also other areas that are under the attention of the international community and one of them is Libya.
This morning, two surveillance missions took place in the North African country.
The first was carried out by a NATO Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. MM-AV-SA0015 – c/s MAGMA10) drone that took off from Sigonella AB. As it has done in the past, the drone, after carrying out its Libyan mission, is moving to the Ukrainian theatre to perform a similar mission.
The second mission was carried out by a USNavy Lockheed EP-3E (reg. 159887), which took off from Souda Bay AB and conducted a SIGINT mission off the Libyan coast.
