Beginning of the week is intense for the US assets at NAS Sigonella

A USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B (reg. 11-2046 – c/s FORTE10) is returning to the Sicilian base after a long mission over the Black Sea. Once again, as has been happening for a few weeks now, the drone has focused on the eastern part of the basin.

On the other hand, the mission has just begun for another drone, a US Navy Northrop Grumman MQ-4C (reg. 169659 – c/s TRITON19), which has departed from Sigonella this time heading towards Libya. After orbiting off the coast of Tripoli, the drone headed east, most likely replicating the same mission we tracked last week.
