“The Oruc Reis research vessel is currently within the Greek continental shelf (that Turkey considers as Turkish EEZ) accompanied by Turkish naval units while forces of the Hellenic Navy are also in the area”, Kathimerini newspaper reports.

An Hellenic Air Force Embraer EMB-145 AEW&C (reg. 757 – callsign OURAN42) left around 16:00 CEST Souda Bay AB to make a surveillance mission in the area.
