The first (of nine) Russian Air Force Ilyushin IL-76MD ( RA-78835 ) sent by Russian government to Italy. The aircraft was departed from Moscow this afternnon and after a stop in Sochi is in flight to Pratica di Mare AB.

A second Ilyushin IL-76MD (RA-78816 ) is following the same route and now is in flight between Moscow and Sochi.


The aircraft are carrying vehicles, men and medical equipment to help Italy fight against the Covid-19
