The Russian Navy increases its presence in the Black Sea theater.

After the incident involving the HMS Defender, tension in the area is increasing: 3 Russian Navy Tupolev Tu-142 are arrived in Yeisk AB from Kipelovo AB.

The Tu-142 is a maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft derived from the Tu-95 turboprop strategic bomber.

The aircraft will be used in Black Sea patrol mission where the NATO presence is always strong.
